Reflections after a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces
Yesterday’s lunar eclipse, with the moon in Pisces and the sun in Virgo, was a perfect moment to embrace the power of letting go. It’s an opportunity to release limiting beliefs, welcome new possibilities, and align with our true selves to live a life of purpose and fulfillment.
Over the past year, I’ve learned the art of letting go -not yet a master though. As someone who tends to control everything—impatient, intense, a Scorpio, Project Manager, and single mother of two—letting go and flowing with life hasn’t come naturally. While I understand the importance of structure and order, it’s draining to focus on what I cannot control.

The harder we resist something, the more the Universe challenges us to transcend it. I’ve seen this play out in my life time and time again. We can try to control every aspect, but some things are beyond our control—and that’s when real growth happens.Making Space for the New
If our hands are full, how can we receive anything new? In life and in our creative processes, we must clear space to welcome fresh ideas and experiences. Just like you can't fill a full glass with new water, you can't embrace new opportunities without letting go of the old.Creativity Thrives in Openness
Letting go is particularly essential in the creative process. Holding onto what we’ve learned can limit us. How can we truly hear what a project needs if we’re not open to new possibilities? Recently, I discussed this with a designer from Alta Creative, who chose a different direction for a branding project because he was willing to listen and adapt. That openness allowed the project to unfold in ways we hadn't anticipated.
Aligning with Your Soul
Life is heavy enough, and we often burden ourselves with choices that aren't aligned with our true selves. Aligning with who you really are takes time, willingness, and bravery. It requires asking difficult questions and making uncomfortable decisions. But it’s only when we let go of what no longer serves us that we can truly embrace what makes our soul shine.
Manifesting Beyond the Eclipse
Even though the eclipse has passed, it's always a good time to reflect, manifest, and consciously release the limitations holding us back. Let go, make space, and allow the new to flow into your life.
